Through our garden, we grow and provide a variety of fresh vegetables to help support the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard’s growing need for food. We start in the spring with “prep and planting,” the ground is tilled and seeds are planted. During the growing season, May through August, we nurture the plants by “weeding and watering”. As plants mature we “harvest and transport,” our produce to the Food Cupboard. Gardeners should expect to get their hands dirty and commit to 1 to 2 hour sessions a week. During harvest time depending on the crop, there may be a need for additional time. Donations of plants/seeds are welcome.
