Parent-led Catechesis

Replacing the classroom model of formation, Parent-led Catechesis is a two-part process.  First, parents meet once per month on SUNDAYS from 3:00p-4:45p or TUESDAYS from 6:15p-8:00p where they learn the material and then teach students at home.  During the parent session, students attend a fun review here at Church.  Second, in addition to that formation, families attend the Family Gathering once a month.  This includes potluck (or picnic during a pandemic) and family activity. For families with grades K-7.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (3-6 y/o)

Grounded in an understanding and appreciation of the child’s engagement with Scripture and Liturgy, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd offers a gentle way to honor the genuine spiritual life of children ages 3-6 through Montessori methodology.  The level I Atrium lays the foundation for the child’s encounter with the Catholic community of faith. Sessions for 2022-2023 are SATURDAY afternoons from 2:30p - 4:15p or SUNDAY mornings from 8:30a - 10:15a.

Church Music Camp - July 17-21, 2023

Join us this summer for Church Music Camp at St. Patrick’s where we nurture everyone’s God-given gift of music. All parishioners (and neighboring church parishioners) are invited to attend this camp, whether learning to sing for the first time or an experienced singer or instrumentalist. Taking place on July 17 through July 21 (2023) our camp is an opportunity to deepen our faith and understanding of the Holy Mass while creating music as a form of prayer: all while having fun with friends! One of our main goals is to enthuse young people to participate in Mass as singers and musicians and to culture an approach of praying when singing and making music.
