Did you know that there are forty-four Parish Ministry opportunities to be be involved with your St. Patrick's community? Familiarize yourself with our ministries. Learn basic information about their specific purpose and the level of commitment needed.
Pray and Discern. Take the Spiritual Gifts Assessment Tool at HERE
Call. Connect with the ministry contact person by phone or by email and ask them about the ministry. Share with him/her the fruit of your prayer and discernment.
Act. Give a ministry or two a try. Work with the contact person so you may see and engage with the ministry team in action.
Commit. Listen, trust and surrender to the Holy Spirit. Through a ministry,
respond to Jesus’ call to serve, with love, and with joy.
A mature Christian is one who imitates the immense generosity of God to him/her by being equally generous to others.
Remember. “It is in giving that we receive!”

Get Involved
Liturgy and Sacramental Life
Alter Linen
We take care of the lines and towels used during the liturgy. Weekly work is divided among volunteers.
Alter Servers
To assist the priest and the deacon during their celebration of the Mass. We welcome both children who have received their First Holy Communion and adults to the ministry.
Baptism Preparation
Baptism prep team meets with parents that are seeking baptism for their child.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
We offer this ministry to our children September through June, the second and fourth Sundays.
Church Cleaners
We meet and clean the church space once a week.
Eucharistic Ministers
This ministry invites devoted parishioners to serve as Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion for the Mass.
Lectors
As a lector, our mission is to help proclaim the Word of God to the assembly.
Liturgy Committee
We oversee the training of our liturgical ministers and assist in preparing our parish liturgies so that our parishioners are both informed and nurtured in their prayer and spiritual life.
Liturgical Environment

Marriage Preparation
We coordinate and lead a Pre-Cana retreat to help prepare engaged couples for marriage.

We are the people of the resurrection. We believe that the ties of friendship and love do not unravel with death. We seek to journey with those who experienced the loss of a loved one in light of the Paschal Mystery.
Coffee Hour
We provide parishioners a welcoming atmosphere for families, singles, and seniors to share their lives and build community over a cup of coffee and pastries.
Knights of Columbus
We provide Catholic men, who are dedicated to making their community a better place, the opportunity to strengthen themselves and one another through our faith in God by serving our Church and community, supporting our priests and bishops, spending meaningful time with our family and helping each other in time of need. Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary, a worldwide organization of Catholic men, women and children who, for the glory of God and for their own personal growth in holiness, place themselves at the service of Mary to spread devotion to her and assist her in her mission of bringing Christ to the world through apostolic works according to the need of the parish under the direction of their pastor.

We recognize the importance of ongoing formation in the Catholic faith.

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults -- OCIA We welcome adults and children (seven years and older) into the Catholic Faith and guide them through the process towards full initiation into the Catholic Church.
Catechesis of the Good Shepard Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is currently offered to children ages 3-5. Grounded in an understanding and appreciation of the child’s engagement with Scripture and Liturgy, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd offers a gentle way to honor the genuine spiritual life of children through Montessori methodology.
Divine Mercy Cenacle Join our small Christian faith group for prayer, spiritual growth, and fellowship. All are Welcome.
Parent-led Catechesis A family-centered faith formation program that helps form all members of the family. This program is also a part of preparation for First Holy Communion.
St. Patrick's Preschool St. Patrick’s Preschool provides a faith-based education with an engaging curriculum for children ages 3-5 years old.
Rosary Group We make beaded cord rosaries that are used for support of St. Patrick’s Liturgies, special events, Pre-Cana, and Sacraments as well ministries in the Diocese of Rochester, McQuaid High School and missionaries around the world.
Youth Ministry, Confirmation We are teens and young adults who desire community, friendship, fun times, and especially support in living our Catholic faith in Jesus Christ. This program is also a part of preparation for Confirmation.

The Assisi Ministry reaches out to the needy by parishioners, often with a meal, a phone call or a card.
Community Dinner
We have partnered with the First Presbyterian Church in Victor to prepare and serve a hot meal to members of our community, on the second Saturday of the month.
Giving Garden
In the Giving Garden, we grow a variety of fresh vegetables to help support the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard.
Jail Ministry
We accompany our brothers and sisters at the Ontario County Jail. On Tuesdays, we pray the Rosary with them, and on Sunday mornings, we bring them Holy Communion and conduct Communion Service.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry began at St. Patrick's in 2007. This ministry believes in the power of prayer to heal and bring comfort to people in need. Participants knit, crochet or quilt prayer shawls for the sick in the parish and for those grieving the loss of a loved one.

The main function of the group is to build community, form relationships, meet and greet new people and provide solicitation and education to interested people of the parish and community.

The Sew ‘N Sews of St. Pattys is a new ministry whose members use their time, gifts and talents to meet the various sewing needs of our parish community.
Social Ministry Committee
The Social Ministry’s mission is to promote social justice and Christian charity. The goal is to raise the awareness level of our faith community to the needs of others, help people in our community facing crisis, and to study the economic and moral issues of the day.

CASE Review Board CASE stands for Creating A Safe Environment. We all know the scourge of the sexual abuse of minors in the Church, and every one of us should promote and nurture a safe environment for minors as well as vulnerable adults in the parish.
Cemetery Board The Cemetery Board has oversight over Saint Patrick’s Cemetery: its maintenance and improvement including its grounds and facilities, and its finances.
Finance Council The Finance Council provides oversight of the Church’s assets and ensures financial resources are being used appropriately.
Money Counters We count and record your generous offerings each week.
Parish Gardens We are blessed with beautiful surroundings around the church and other parish buildings. Through the care and improvement of our parish gardens, we give thanks to God for the gift of nature.
Parish Magazine Through the parish magazine, we will cover parish happenings, share good news, profile families, and promote religious events, teachings and more! We are looking at initially producing the magazine twice a year. If you have skills with writing, editing, design, marketing and photography, please consider joining us.
